Primary Education Development Program PEDP 4 phase already approved by ECNEC with almost 4 core Taka budget. Directorate of Primary Education DPE controller of the primary education under Ministry of Primary and Mass Education source said that, there have been total 64 thousand primary school in Bangladesh. But almost 20 thousand primary school teacher vacancy available now for those school in whole Bangladesh. For this reason dpe decided 12 thousand new primary school teacher job circular will be published in June 2018.

One of the dpe source said, in last month of June 2018 dpe will be published primary new job circular on dpe (dep.gov.bd) official website. This decision was taken by most recent dpe meeting which president was Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal who is the Director General of dpe.

Additional Director General of DPE Ramjan Ali said, Different initiatives have been taken to improve primary education in Bangladesh. Such as there are new recruitment jobs to fill the vacant posts of primary school teachers. Appointment process of written exam ongoing of 10 thousand assistant teachers which was suspended in 2014. On June 1, 2018 it will be finished and oral examinations will be completed in July 2018. The recruitment process for the new recruitment of more than 12,000 primary assistant teachers will be started in the current fiscal.

Under the 4th Primary Education Development Program (PEDP-4) the development of primary school infrastructure in each District level, Upazila level, creating additional new classrooms, up gradation of primary school will be upgraded to class eight. More than a large number of one and a half lakh primary teachers will be appointed in government primary schools in the next five years, according to the vacant teacher’s posts, according to the requirement and pre-primary level.
